Disability claims for employees of the Federal Government Office
of Personnel Management
The United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has jurisdiction
of some federal employee claims for disability annuity retirement. Our
firm represents clients in initially making a claim or in appealing the
claim to an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ). Often cases can be won at
the ALJ level even though denied initially.
Usually no legal fees are paid if there is no recovery for the claimant.
United States Merit Systems Protection Board
The Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) is an independent administrative
law agency established to make determinations regarding rights and obligations
of some federal employees. It has the jurisdiction to determine employee
appeals of some federal employee’s claims for disability annuity
benefits. This may include a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge
(ALJ).
Our office represents those who are disabled and seek federal disability
annuity retirement benefits. You may hire us at the initial claim stage
or for a hearing. If you hire our office, normally there is no legal fee
unless you recover benefits.
